We use AI and quantum-based simulations to discover and develop new materials for defense and dual-use applications, from energetics and propellants to carbon fibers, polymers, coatings and composites. Developing a new material today takes 10+ years of trial-and-error lab work. We compress that to months, using physics-based simulation, machine learning and AI agents that only send labs candidates that can actually be made. Sam, Ofir and Maor have spent the past two years researching the discovery of these exact materials together at the Technion lab of our CSO, Prof. Alon Grinberg Dana (former MIT postdoc), working directly with defense primes and government R&D agencies. Together we bring deep expertise in chemical engineering, computational chemistry and AI, and the production systems to put them to work. ChemPilot spun out of that work. The defense and dual-use industrial base runs on materials with fragile, sole-source and often adversarial supply chains, from energetics and propellants to carbon fibers, high-temperature composites and specialty polymers. Demand for new capabilities is surging, and materials take decades to develop. The West needs new materials it can make securely, fast and cheap - ChemPilot will help find and develop them.

Molecular discovery at the intersection of AI and physics: generative models propose, quantum chemistry validates - one continuous workflow for data-limited materials domains.
The title and description the site itself served, answering 200. Not a cached copy and not the company's directory entry — what was live when we asked.
Founders, titles and bios as the company published them. Photographs are our own copies of the ones on that record, so they do not break when the original link expires.
No investor is drawn from a Form D — the form states how many invested and never who. The one investor on this graph is named because a batch has exactly one.

If you're behind ChemPilot.ai: acceptance into a YC batch is one of the few weeks a young company gets looked up by people who matter — investors, other founders, press. FoxPlug turns the commits, deploys, and releases you're already making into that story automatically, so anyone who looks finds something current. GetFoxChat puts a guide on your own site so the people YC's own page just sent you don't read one line and leave.
