What the record shows
As of 2026-10-05. A payment disclosed on a Form D is a disclosed use of proceeds, not a finding of wrongdoing.
On 24 September 2025 WeTravel announced that "it raised its Series C funding round at $92 million USD, led by Sapphire Ventures". The announcement does not mention a stock repurchase.Source: product.wetravel.com
Its Form D, filed with the SEC the same day, reports $52,204,843 of equity sold to 12 investors, with a first sale on 2 September 2025. That is $39,795,157 less than the announced figure.
