Background: Alz is a neurodegenerative disorder that afflicts an estimated 6 million people in the u.s. With over $300 billion annually in associated healthcare costs. The only recent therapeutic approvals have been met with controversy due to a lack of perceived clinical benefit in pivotal trials.
