Egoist Machines is building the user-owned context layer that will be the unlock for the next generation of consumer AI applications. Our product, AI Passport, lets people carry the personal context they generate in everyday apps into any new product, so it understands them from the first interaction. Tell ChatGPT something and Claude already knows, for example, without any app ever owning your data. The bottleneck for consumer AI is shifting from the model to context. Models can already handle most everyday tasks for the average user, but every new app starts cold, forcing users to re-explain themselves and forcing businesses to rebuild profiles of data that already exist. Apps integrate with a "Sign in with AI Passport" button, then request specific information for a stated purpose and duration. Users stay in control of what moves between products and can revoke access later, which matters most for sensitive health and financial context. Under the hood, AI Passport runs on our own vector database built for fast, compact per-user memory with cryptographically enforced access control. We're building first-party apps that give people a reason to create their Passport today, while integrating it into consumer products with existing audiences of billions. Our North Star: your context living on your own device, sovereign to you, with every model, app, and agent coming to you.
