How to connect
- Step 1: Set up MentionFox API credentials. Log into your MentionFox account and generate an API key from the integrations panel. Note your workspace ID and preferred credit allocation. MentionFox offers tiered monthly credits: Free (10/month), Pro (100/month, $99/month), Agency (1,000/month, $499/month with 5 seats), and Enterprise (5,000/month, $2,999/month with unlimited seats). Additional credit packs are available at $0.40 per credit (Starter 50 credits $20, Growth 200 credits $80, Best Value 500 credits $200). Monthly credits reset each month; purchased credit packs persist forever.
- Step 2: Configure Intercom API access. In Intercom, navigate to Settings > Integrations > API and copy your Access Token. This token allows MentionFox to programmatically create and update conversation records. Ensure your Intercom workspace has conversation creation permissions enabled. No special Intercom plan is required; standard API access is sufficient.
- Step 3: Link MentionFox to Intercom in the integrations dashboard. Return to MentionFox and select Integrations > Add New. Choose Intercom from the list, paste your Access Token, and confirm the connection.
