How to connect
- Step 1: Set up Your Coda Workspace and Table. Create or open a Coda workspace and add a new table to hold MentionFox data. Define columns for the fields you want to sync—for example, Prospect Name, Company, Email, Platform, Conversation URL, Lead Score, Outreach Status, and Notes. Coda's flexible column types (text, email, URL, select, date) let you structure data to match your workflow. Share the Coda doc with your team so they can collaborate on prospect evaluation and next steps.
- Step 2: Generate a Coda API Token. In Coda, go to Account Settings, then API settings. Create a new API token with the permissions needed to write to your table. Copy the token and store it securely. You will also need your Coda document ID and table ID, which you can find in the Coda URL or by inspecting the doc structure in the API explorer. Keep these credentials ready for the next step.
- Step 3: Configure the MentionFox API Connection. In your MentionFox account, navigate to Integrations or API settings. Enter your Coda API token, document ID, and table ID. Select which MentionFox modules you want to sync—Social Listening results, Investor Research profiles, or Outreach records. Test the connection by running a small search in MentionFox and confirming that results appear in your Coda table within seconds.
