Adding Clients

Every brand you monitor in MentionFox is represented as a client. When you add a new client, MentionFox runs AI-powered brand enrichment to automatically build a comprehensive profile.

How to add a client

  1. Click + Add Client in the left nav under Clients or from the Clients overview page.
  2. Enter the client's company name and website URL. The URL is important because MentionFox scrapes the site to find the logo and verify the brand identity.
  3. Click Create. MentionFox will immediately begin the enrichment process.

What happens during enrichment

Enrichment runs automatically when you create a client. It draws on verified public records and public web sources to discover the company's industry, description, founding year, headquarters, employee count, social media profiles, and key products — every detail sourced. It also finds a real logo from the company website, and handles typo detection so even approximate names resolve correctly.

After enrichment

Once enrichment completes, you will see the client's full profile in their client page. Review the details and correct anything that looks off. MentionFox also discovers competitors automatically, which feeds into the Sales Arsenal and Outfoxer competitive intelligence tools. You can now configure keywords and launch your first scan for this client.

Tip: For the best enrichment results, use the client's exact legal name and primary domain (not a subdomain or landing page).
