Traditional cloud infrastructure was built to run a single app for many users. Agents work differently. Each one needs its own isolated machine to write software on the fly, run tools and act on its own for hours or weeks. And everything it produces has to persist between sessions. Superserve gives every agent and RL rollout its own virtual machine that starts in under 50ms. Machines start from templates with your repo and dependencies already loaded, pause with memory and files intact at zero compute cost, and resume or fork from that exact state. You can run docker, databases, browsers or any services on these VMs. API keys stay outside the machine and egress rules control what agents can reach. For teams building coding agents, autonomous workers, or eval and training environments, that means elastic infrastructure with no servers or warm pools to manage, and control over what every agent can reach and which credentials it can see. We run over 100K machines (as of Oct 2026) every week for world-class teams, including Lindy, and Y Combinator itself.

Virtual machines for long-horizon agents.
The title and description the site itself served, answering 200. Not a cached copy and not the company's directory entry — what was live when we asked.
Counted only where a thread links to this company's own site, announces it by name on that forum, or names it beside its own Y Combinator batch. A thread whose title merely carries the words is not counted — a name is not an identifier. Hacker News is not us, and nothing above is our opinion of the company.
Founder & CEO of Superserve. As Staff Software Engineer at Dosu, he built code-reasoning agents used by 200K engineers, including teams at HashiCorp, Datadog and LlamaIndex. Giving every agent session a secure environment with a codebase, bash and tools was hard infra work, so he started Superserve to make it easy. Before that, he was Founding Engineer and Director of Engineering at Long-Term Stock Exchange (YC S17), building capital markets software used by 50,000 startups.
Founders, titles and bios as the company published them. Photographs are our own copies of the ones on that record, so they do not break when the original link expires.
No investor is drawn from a Form D — the form states how many invested and never who. The one investor on this graph is named because a batch has exactly one.

If you're behind Superserve: acceptance into a YC batch is one of the few weeks a young company gets looked up by people who matter — investors, other founders, press. FoxPlug turns the commits, deploys, and releases you're already making into that story automatically, so anyone who looks finds something current. GetFoxChat puts a guide on your own site so the people YC's own page just sent you don't read one line and leave.
