MentionFox

MCP integration

MentionFox publishes an MCP server (Model Context Protocol) so an MCP-compatible AI client can call MentionFox tools directly — running scans, pulling research, checking your GEOFixer score, and writing to your pipeline from inside the AI app you already use.

The server URL

The public MCP endpoint is:

https://mentionfox.com/mcp

Connecting a client

The easiest way to set it up is the “Connect your AI agent” panel at the bottom of the GEOFixer page (and the GEO tab of any client). It shows your MCP URL and gives copy-paste configuration snippets for Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, and Cursor. Paste the snippet into your client's MCP configuration, restart the client, and MentionFox's tools become available in that app.

A Claude Desktop configuration, for example, adds MentionFox under mcpServers with the URL above. The on-screen widget generates the exact snippet for you, so you don't have to hand-write it.

What you can do once connected

The tool set spans GEOFixer (your visibility score, top recommended actions, and on-demand audits) plus broader research and pipeline tools — scanning for mentions, screening people, and saving leads to your pipeline. Your usage is tied to your MentionFox account and credits, the same as using the dashboard.

No separate OAuth dance — connecting is a one-time config paste from the widget. See Authentication for how API keys work across MentionFox surfaces.
