Using Evaluation Reports with Workday
Step-by-step guide for importing candidate evaluations into Workday Recruiting
1. Attach PDF to Candidate Record
Add the evaluation to the candidate's Workday file
- Export PDF from the evaluation results
- In Workday Recruiting, open the candidate's record
- Navigate to Documents or Attachments
- Upload the PDF report
- Tag it as "External Assessment" for easy retrieval
2. Import Assessment Scores
Record evaluation results in Workday's assessment section
- On the candidate record, go to Assess tab
- Add a new assessment result
- Enter the overall fit score (0-100) and recommendation
- Add category scores (Technical, Professional, Personality, Risk) as sub-scores
- These scores become searchable and reportable in Workday
3. Use Share Link for Hiring Committee
Enable quick review without file downloads
- Click Share on the evaluation to get a link
- Share via Workday's internal messaging or add as a comment on the candidate
- Committee members can review the full evaluation in their browser — no login needed
- Useful for distributed hiring teams across time zones
4. Interview Scheduling with Custom Questions
Use gap-specific questions in structured interviews
- Copy interview questions from the evaluation
- In Workday's interview scheduling, add these as structured interview questions
- Include the "Why ask this" context for interviewers
- After interviews, compare answers against the "Good answer signal" criteria
