Adding Clients

Every brand you monitor in MentionFox is represented as a client. When you add a new client, MentionFox runs AI-powered brand enrichment to automatically build a comprehensive profile.

How to add a client

1. Click + Add Client in the sidebar or from the Clients overview page.
2. Enter the client's company name and website URL. The URL is important because MentionFox scrapes the site to find the logo and verify the brand identity.
3. Click Create. MentionFox will immediately begin the enrichment process.

What happens during enrichment

The enrich-brand pipeline runs automatically when you create a client. It uses Claude AI combined with Hunter, Serper, and Firecrawl to discover the company's industry, description, founding year, headquarters, employee count, social media profiles, and key products. The fetch-logo service scrapes the company website for a real logo image. The resolve-brand service handles typo detection so even approximate names resolve correctly.

After enrichment

Once enrichment completes, you will see the client's full profile in their War Room. Review the details and correct anything that looks off. MentionFox also discovers competitors automatically, which feeds into the Sales Arsenal and Outfoxer competitive intelligence tools. You can now configure keywords and launch your first scan for this client.
